About GINA

This is simply amazing.
The benefits of out of the box thinking. I’m always impressed when people manage to take a different approach on things that we believe are fixed.

About the end of the OLPC

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

It looks bad.

OLPC was never really about learning; it was about freetards promoting free software. Now it’s not even about that. It’s just about selling laptops.

OLPC never had any plan for deploying laptops. Out in the field, in Peru and Uruguay, it’s a total mess.

About time lapse

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

Picture 1.pngAfter seeing some at LIFT, I got interested in the subject of time lapse photography.

The only problem for me is that it seems that the timelaps function is included in the recent Nikon releases but I would need a “Canon TC-80N3″ to make it work, and I would still need to adapt it (cut the cables) in order to make it work with my 350D. So I guess I’ll just wait until I get enough spare money to buy myself a 5d.
In the mean time, you can browse thru to amazing shots by Ross Ching. And the making of is interesting too.
